Whitney Tingle is a wellness entrepreneur, healthy living expert, and co-founder of Sakara Life, a health and nutrition company based on the science behind the microbiome and the core philosophy of food as medicine. Whitney started her journey after she gained 15 lbs working on Wall Street and suffering from chronic cystic acne, struggling to balance the busy lifestyle of New York City and a healthy lifestyle. Whitney saw every dermatologist in the city and tried everything from Ayurveda to Accutane. After nothing gave her the results she was looking for, she decided to partner with her long-time friend and Nutritionist Danielle DuBoise to create a meal program for herself that would target the root cause of her problems.

Season One of Biohack-it is a celebration of beginnings, inner strength, and finding the warrior in each of us. We dedicate this season to our Hala, who passed away recently. Hala is the daughter of a close friend, Miriam Ghandour, known in Miami as Mimi Yoga. Hala faced her muscular disease with extraordinary bravery and a radiant spirit. Her story, full of courage and positivity, is a guiding light for our journey this season. In honor of Hala’s inspiring life, Biohack-it supports Mia's Miracles, a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization aiding children facing similar battles. You can donate directly to Mia’s Miracles on our website.
